I deliver engaging, evidence-based webinars designed to educate, enhance performance, and foster positive wellbeing.

I am experienced in delivering for organisations ranging from grassroots clubs to national governing bodies.

Sessions cover key topics in sport psychology and mental health, helping athletes and coaches develop their knowledge and psychological skills required to perform under pressure, build resilience, and maintain wellbeing.

Whether you're looking to support your athletes, educate your coaches, or strengthen the mental culture within your organisation, I can design a webinar tailored to your needs.

Sessions range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, with every webinar including a dedicated 15-minute Q&A to ensure attendees get their desired questions answered.

If you’re interested in booking a session, get in touch via email and we can arrange a call to discuss your requirements.

MENTAL SKILLS COURSE FOR ORIENTEERING SUCCESS

Introducing an affordable alternative to 1:1 sessions, this course will not only teach you the mental skills needed in order to be successful but also how to implement them into your current training.

Mental skills are critical for consistent performance — yet many orienteers are never formally taught how to develop them.

You train your body. You refine your technique… and now it’s time to train your mind!

  • This course will teach you the theory and practical implementation of the following areas:

    • Visualisation & mindfulness

    • Self-talk

    • Mindset

    • Confidence

    • Emotional regulation

    What else is included?

    • Each session will be orienteering-related, including theory, examples, interactive tasks, practical exercises and a dedicated Q&A

    • A google calendar invitation with the Zoom link

    • A recording per session so you can revisit the information as much as you’d like

    • All worksheets, to enable you to keep your applied-task notes organised

    • The group is the same each month so a sense of community is present

    • Email communication so you can ask any questions you have between sessions

    • 20% discount on individual packages

  • Course dates (live online 60min sessions)

    • Monday 24 August

    • Monday 14 September

  • Who is this course suitable for?

This course is primarily aimed at athletes, although coaches are welcome too. It is designed for committed orienteers who want to strengthen the mental side of their performance. It is suitable for junior, senior, and developing performance-level athletes who are motivated to step up their game.

What happens if I can’t make one or more of the sessions?

If you’re unable to attend a live session, you will receive access to the full recording so you can catch up at a time that suits you.

Please notify me as soon as possible if you know you cannot attend.

Is there any work to complete prior to or between sessions?

Prior to the session, only payment and a signed contract is due beforehand.

Each session includes practical exercises and applied development tasks to help embed learning between modules.

Progress comes from implementation, not just understanding.

How do I pay for the course?

The full course fee is payable the week commencing 27th July via Stripe.

If you prefer to spread the cost, a 5-month payment plan option is available (see below).

What payment plan options are available?

A 5-month payment plan is available.

Your first instalment is due the week commencing 27th July. Subsequent monthly payments will be invoiced via a secure Stripe and are due no later than 7 days before each scheduled session.

Sondre Gullord - International Orienteering Federation

“Rachel delivered an insightful and highly relevant webinar for the International Orienteering Federation that deepened our understanding of wellbeing and mental challenges in orienteering. Her clear, practical approach provided valuable tools to support both athlete wellbeing and performance and understanding of the connection between these. We greatly appreciate her contribution to the IOF’s education programme.”

I’VE BEEN INVOLVED IN SPORTS SINCE I WAS FIVE, COMPETING IN SWIMMING, TRIATHLONS, AND ORIENTEERING.

WHY WORK WITH ME?

I was selected for the regional orienteering squad at 14. My goal was to represent Great Britain at the senior level, but after contracting Lyme’s disease and being diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I had to step away from elite sport.

This forced break left me questioning my identity and struggling to adapt to life without the sport I’d known for so long. I had to rediscover who I was and learn to balance my passion with my body’s new limitations.

This challenging journey taught me that peak performance goes beyond physical training and nutrition—it’s just as much about the mental and psychological aspects. This insight inspired me to become a coach, helping athletes break through their own obstacles and perform at their best, no matter what challenges they face
